Good morning. My maternal grandfather was Benjamin Rule Bennetts from (I think Redruth) Cornwall. He and his brothers came to SA to fight the Anglo Boer War. Thereafter they returned to Cornwall and arranged for the rest of their family to emigrate to South Africa. I think his date of birth was 24 March 1875. He had many brothers and a few sisters. Over the years some of the South African Bennetts families emigrated to Australia.On holiday in Cornwall in 1972 I met a cousin of his...
